Details
- Must be an independently licensed professional with mental health services as part of their scope of practice, hold an associates license, or be an approved graduate student.
- Participants must attend all days and complete the 10 consultations (over Zoom) to get credit for the course.
- 20 hours of classroom, 20 of practicum, and 10 consultations.
- 10 hours of consultation are required in order to complete this training. Your payment covers those consultations only within the timeframe of the 11 weeks following the training.
- CE's Participants will receive 40 CE's through NBCC
- Second year and above students only.
- You must include a copy of your transcripts, practicum or internship details and letter from your supervisor which includes the supervisor's license information and number stating you may take the course and will have clients with whom you will be able to use EMDR.

Common Questions
Is this training EMDRIA-approved?
Yes. VIA EMDR Basic Training is fully EMDRIA-Approved. Your 40 training hours count toward EMDRIA Certified Therapist and EMDR Consultant status. An official certificate of completion is issued upon finishing the program.
Do I need prior EMDR experience?
No. This foundational training takes you from zero to clinical competency. You should hold an active license or be working under clinical supervision at the time of training.
How does the virtual format work?
Training is delivered live over Zoom across five consecutive days (Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm PST). Each day includes didactic sessions and small-group practicum breakouts where you practice EMDR with peers under direct trainer supervision. Full attendance is required for certificate issuance.
Are CEUs included?
Yes. NBCC continuing education credits are available for licensed mental health professionals. Specific CE hours will be confirmed in your registration materials.
What happens after I register?

What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellation policy is full refund up to 2 weeks prior to the training, after that there will not be a refund provided! Please contact us with any questions or transfer requests.

- Payment must be made in full to register.
- Participants must complete all 40 hours of training and 10 hours of consultation within 12 months of the start of this training.
- Refunds in full are possible up until 2 weeks prior to the training. After that, no refunds will be provided.
