Learn more about what it is we do.

  • EMDR is an 8-phase modality. Utilizing mindfulness and scientific-based healing to help shift our maladaptive reactions to a sustainable adaptive process. We heal from the root.

As EMDR therapists, we view mental health symptoms as unprocessed stuff. This stuff being both trauma and other internal injuries that have added up.

When trauma occurs, elements of the trauma can get stuck in the nervous system with the original sensations. Because of this stuckness, we get triggered over and over again when the reminder/stressor/trigger occurs.

This leads to frustration and painful discomfort, both with ourselves, others, and our environment.

The art and neurological support of EMDR unlocks the system and allows our brain and body to work through past injuries and store the memories in a healthy way in our brain. No longer activating our bodies, and bringing balance to our present reactions.

Through the EMDR process we work together and you are always in control.

This short consultation (20 mins) will review logistics of scheduling/insurance, goals for therapy, and good fit.
